What do I need to apply?
The time required to process a mortgage application can be significantly reduced if alternative documentation is utilized. Listed below are items that may be used in lieu of requesting the information from employers, banks, Federal Government. The fewer items we must order from outside sources, the quicker your application will proceed.
From the Realtor Copy of purchase contract and all addenda (signed by all parties) Copy of legal description and MLS sheet Copy of listing contract, if you are selling your current home Copy of settlement statement (HUD-1), if you have sold your current home
Income and Employment Name and address of employers for previous two years Previous two years W-2's and tax returns (Include all schedules) Pay stubs to cover past thirty days Year-to-date Profit and Loss statement and Balance Sheet, if self-employed Social Security award letters, pension award letters or trust fund statements Leases for rental property owned
Assets and Liabilities Bank statements for past three months (checking, savings, CD, etc.) Most recent quarterly statements (mutual funds, 401k, IRA, etc.) Copies of stock certificates or savings bonds Gift letter and copy of gift check Past twelve months canceled mortgage or rent checks, or Landlord's address, if renting Mortgage account number & lender address Most recent debt statements (include all debt account numbers, addresses, balances and minimum monthly payments)
Miscellaneous Personal Photo Identification for FHA & VA loan Copy of DD214 (VA applicants) Copy of Certificate of Eligibility (VA applicants) Copy of divorce decree and separation agreement (if applicable) Copy of bankruptcy discharge and all schedules (if applicable) If refinancing, copy of settlement statement, location survey and note.
